history17 July 2004 - Respect Festival, Victoria Park, East London. Performed 20 minute set as part of the Festival. 7 November 2002 - Sadler's Wells Lillian Baylis Theatre 10 November 2002 - Croydon Clocktower - Performed Shellshock, a new multimedia dance performance piece, in collaboration with Katie MacCabe, mentored with Charlotte Darbyshire - a part of the London Festival of Disability Arts Festival Exposure. The piece explored the horrors of war and was layered with a backdrop of visuals created by filmmaker Maria Robinson. I also composed the music. 2000 - I joined the Frankie Miller Project, which is a project that involves Frankie Miller who was a famous rock musician in the 70's, but is now disabled after having a stroke. There are about five musicians in the project who are disabled. The aim of the project is to work alongside non-disabled musicians, to create a top quality CD, and concert to raise our profile as professional composers. 1998 - Started living as a woman as I have transgender dysphoria. 1997 - I joined The Drake Music Project as a musician and trustee. 1996 - Moved back to London. 1995 - I did more shows with Brith Gof and released a second album. The Slate, a BBC Wales arts programme did a five minute profile about me. 1994 - Helped set up the Cardiff Music Technology Group for people with disabilities. I taught with the Cardiff Music Technology Group and acted as secretary. I began an NVQ community music course. Signed to Stream Records, a record company for disabled people, and released my first album. I composed music for a disabled theatre group RAW and for an animation film at St. David's Hall. 1993 - Joined Brith Gof Theatre Company and toured in a two man show in Europe and the UK. The company is mainly a physical theatre company, based in Cardiff. Mike Pearson was the company director at the time, he is now professor of performance studies at The Department of Theatre Film and T.V. Studies, University of Wales Aberystwyth. 1992 - I was in a drama group called The Voyageers and the first performance was about our own lives. 1990 - Worked alongside Maggie Riley as a songwriting tutor for ArtAbility in Edinburgh. This was two week-long courses for people with a disability to compose music and write songs. While there I met Tim Anderson of the Drake Music Project. The Drake project gives physically disabled people the opportunity to make music using computer technology. Tim introduced me to Cubase and the Atari computer. Soon I had my own gear through Drake. Adaptations were made to the computer so that I didn't have to press two keys at once. 1989 - Joined Community Music Wales and attended weekly music lessons. I had a Commodore 64 computer with a simple sequencer. 1988
